There’s never a dull moment in the IT industry and my friends over at IT Unity have organised an amazing series online events this week. It’s all focused on the latest and greatest business solution technologies.
Unity Connect Online, June 9-11 2015, is bringing together the best-known, most expert voices in the SharePoint, Office 365, and Azure communities. This is taking place at an interactive, online venue. I’ll be there sharing my expertise, alongside an amazing array of quality speakers, gathered from across the globe. Best of all, I’ll be doing it from the comfort of my fancy hotel room in Singapore.
My session is Introduction to Office Graph and Delve. - As we are burdened with massive information overload, how we interact with information becomes more and more important. Search, social and enterprise intelligence (machine learning) are coming together to drive the future of intelligent applications, and we haven't even begun to realize the potential. Office Graph and Delve demonstrate how Microsoft reimagined search and information discovery. In this thought-provoking session, I’ll discuss the real-world challenges everyone has to face in this new era. We’ll also debate the future of information management and enterprise findability.
We’re also having a panel discussion about Search in the Enterprise, with Corey Roth, Matthew McDermott and Mikael Swenson.
If it’s still not enough, SPS Unity EMEA is on June 13, 2015. This free of charge SharePoint Saturday online will feature over a dozen sessions scheduled for the European, Middle Eastern, and African communities.
I’ll be talking about Office Graph and Delve from a practical point of view. My second session is about real world challenges and unexpected scenarios in Enterprise Search. This one is ideal for everyone regardless of which version of SharePoint you are using.
It’s all free to attend, but you do have to register.
I’ve got to run now as I'm off to Singapore and presenting at the IKO Conference 2015 soon. As I said at the beginning, never a dull moment, which is why I love the IT industry.
Have a wonderful week!
